The Asian Working Group is a joint humanist effort in this continent to foster humanist values and ideas. Since its inception in 2007, it has published information bullitens, has had regular meetings and organized events. The Working Group was part of organizing the IHEYO 2009 International Conference in Nepal on the secular state. And in 2010 it was part of organizing a regional leadership training in Nepal.

The Working Group has members in India, Buthan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Singapore.
The Working Group is chaired by Sven Berg Ryen, in Singapore, and its Secretary General is Abhilash K. from India. They were elected at the 2011 General Assembly of IHEYO in their office.
