Practical details IHEYO Conference

Registering for Conference

The conference focuses on young persons between 15 and 35 years, especially humanists and Human Right activists (people active within non-profit organisations). Older humanists may participate too when they want.

To register for the conference one need to fill online the application form one can find here. The deadline for applying is 31 of March. When the organizers receive more applicants than we can host, we will need to make a selection. Every one that registers will be notified in the second week of April whether he or she is selected as participant.

Please register as soon as possible and when you need certainty about your registration before the 31th of March (because of practical arrangements) do let the organizers know.

Participation fee

The participation fee for the conference is 40 Euros for participants from developing countries and 75 Euros for participants from developed countries. Waiving of the Fee is possible (see sponsorship possibilities). It is needed to pay the fee in advance, more information about this will follow when registration is formally acknowledged by the conference organizers.

Sponsorships?

Yes, there are sponsorship for the conference for participation fee and travel. Sponsorship opportunity is available ONLY for participants from African countries.

Applicants can apply for either or both sponsorship opportunities. Especially small amounts of financial support are fairly easy to sponsor by the organizers. One can apply for sponsorship by stating this on the Application Form.
