The International Humanist and Ethical Youth Organisation (IHEYO) is devoted to promoting the spread of humanism among young people. IHEYO is working together with many groups and individuals around the world. With humanism in practice IHEYO means all humanist, freethinker, laique, skeptic, rationalist, atheist, agnostics, etc. groups.
We are happy to announce that IHEYOs affiliate PATAS is calling youth (below 35) from South East Asia, South ASia and beyond for Regional Youth Humanist Conference in Cebu, Philippines. The theme is on Human Rights, Women Rights, LGBT issues.
Conference starts Sat 22 Jun and ends in the early afternoon on Sun 23 Jun. There will be cultural night Saturday night.
Friday 21 June IHEYO will organize capacity/competency training for humanist activists.
We will get back to you with more details about the program later, though the venue has been booked and financial support is secured, so you may start booking your flights.
We will soon announce a travel grant for regional humanist youth activists. The travel grant is open to active volunteers from IHEYO Asian member organzations, as well as active youth Humanists from Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
You can attend the event anonymously. We will provide stickers that you may use if you prefer not to be seen in any official public photos and videos at the event, as we know a few activists operate under cover due to religious surroundings.

Dear members of IHEYO,
we are glad to announce our General Assembly dated 24th May 2013 in Bucharest, Romania. The IHEYO GA is held in conjunction with the GA of IHEU, EHF and a Romanian conference. We hope to bring together our members from the surrounding countries and some international members from all over the world and furthermore to encourage the participation of older generations taking part in our session. The GA is located in the Hotel Trianon, 9 Cobalcescu Grigore Street, District 1, 010191, Bucharest, 4-7 pm.
