African Working Group
The African Working Group (in short: AWG) of IHEYO was established around 2005. It has organized two regional meetings in East Africa, the last one held in 2011. And it held an online Regional Conference in 2006. It has organized an International Conference in 2012 in Ghana. And a lot of bilateral networking is happening among the members of the group.
The African Working Group is mainly organized in East Africa (Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, Rwanda, etc.) and West Africa (Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia, Cameroon, Malawi, etc.). Any new group that affiliates with the secular lifestance from any country is much invited to join the work!
The AWG is chaired by Kato Mukasa. The Working Group Secretary General is Roslyn Mould. They were elected in their offices for the period of 2014-2015 by the IHEYO General Assembly.

Asian Humanist Alliance
The Asian Working Group is a joint humanist effort in this continent to foster humanist values and ideas. Since its inception in 2007, it has published information bullitens, has had regular meetings and organized events. The Working Group was part of organizing the IHEYO 2009 International Conference in Nepal on the secular state. And in 2010 it was part of organizing a regional leadership training in Nepal. In 2012, we saw the Regional conference on Untouchability organised in Nepal, followed by the first regional conference of South Asia and South-East Asia "Beyond Barriers" in Cebu, Philippines. In 2014, the regional event returned to Nepal.
The Working Group has members in Pakistan, India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and Philippines.
The Working Group is chaired by Sven Berg Ryen, in Singapore, and its Secretary General is Sana Sohail from Pakistan. They were elected at the 2013 General Assembly of IHEYO.

European Working Group
The European Working group (EWG) is a group of European IHEYO member organizations working together. The EWG has annual face to face meetings to coordinate the international exchanges taking place at events organized in Europe.
